Telemedicine

Central Florida Functional Medicine offers telemedicine services through a dedicated service called doxy.me.  This videoconferencing is designed with medical consults in mind and is HIPAA compliant.  Doxy.me does not require that patients download any software.  It can be used from any computer or mobile device with a camera and microphone.  This service is only compatible with the safari, chrome and Firefox web browsers.  

Here's how it works:

  1. Patient contacts office to schedule consult.

  2. Appointment is booked.  Patient provides email address in which doxy.me email invitation can be sent to.

  3. Upon accepting invitation, on day of appointment, patient will be directed to a virtual waiting room. 

  4. Once in waiting room the patient will be added to the queue which lets Scott know they are ready and the consult can begin.
